The 'if I was a flower what would I be and why?' Competition has been won by a lovely lady who chose a Violet as her flower. This was her Grandmother's name who she was middle named after, along with her Cousin and Auntie.
She (the Original Violet) would have been married for 77 years on the 11th May, a wedding that took place in India! She certainly sounds like she was a popular lady with three family members carrying her name forward.
The winning picture has now arrived safe and sound and I will share a photo of it in situ once it's arrived.
I had lots of fun with the competition and may well do another...
